MPR is more than just a grade calculator; MPR is the number one method for tracking student grades. The My Progress Report (MPR) Mobile App provides a functional tool for students, parents, and other caring adults who desire to track the scholastic achievement of their students. The premise of the app is that of a traditional progress report being sent from your child’s school every 3 – 4 weeks. Parents complain that by the time they receive the report from their school, it’s usually too late for meaningful interventions. But with the advent of technology, a student’s progress is now available in “Real-Time” and…at the touch of a button on your smart phone on a weekly and even a daily basis.

The app’s major functionality will include:

•Intuitive graphical user interface allowing entry of dates, grades, and assignment descriptions.

Throughout each grading period and semester, students receive grades for homework, quizzes, tests, and special projects. Using the MPR mobile app as an unofficial record of grades, the student can regularly update the parent on a weekly or daily basis with their scholastic progress. In addition to grades, students enter upcoming tests, quizzes, and special projects/events as REMINDERS to prepare and to keep parents in-the-loop related to upcoming test and projects. Standard metrics are used to create various reports to identify the student’s overall progress and to act as a benchmark for goal setting throughout the year.
